The History of Top Dawg Tavern

Over 10 years ago, Renee and Brett Summers dreamed up the idea of creating the perfect place for them to grab a bite to eat, have a drink and enjoy time together with friends and family. Being new parents, they wanted a gathering place for everyone that was casual, yet comfy; welcoming and most importantly FUN! Being die-hard sports fans - it also needed to be a place to watch all their favorite sports. And that is how Top Dawg Tavern was born. Our first restaurant opened on March 4th of 2013 and we have continued to expand around the southeast to all of our favorite places. We are still family-owned and operated and die-hard Dawg fans, but everyone is welcome at Top Dawg Tavern. Even Gator fans. GO DAWGS!

We serve fresh, high-quality food with a smile.  Our menu is diverse so there is something for everyone in your party. Enjoy a shareable appetizer, juicy Tavern Burgers, BIG salads, hot & crispy wings or one of our mouthwatering entree favorites. We also have a delicious dessert menu with items like our Fried Cheesecake or Peanut Butter Cup Duo. Our cocktail list is full of the classics like our Lemon Drop Martini, Pineapple Margarita or Tito’s Mule. And yes, we have an extensive beer list too including craft, local and domestic favorites.

So feel free to bring the whole family and come hang out on our outdoor patio and enjoy a bite to eat, a drink from our full bar, and watch a game! We have tons of TVs throughout the restaurant, including a jumbo projection screen for all the big events. We offer a fun family-friendly evnvironment and have 7 different $5 Kids Meal options available 7 days a week. Our kids meals all come with a side item, kids drink and ice cream for dessert!
